Tom Brady just announced his official retirement (for the second time) after 23 seasons in the NFL, and he’s going out with a helluva resume, with 7 Super Bowls, 5 Super Bowl MVP’s, 2 NFL Offensive Player of the Year awards, 15 Pro Bowl honors, and he leads in passing yards, touchdowns, completions, quarterback wins and more.
Drafted by the New England Patriots in the 6th Round of the 2000 NFL Draft, the University of Michigan alum is widely regarded as the greatest quarterback of all time.
He shared a video on Twitter announcing the news a few days ago where he’s sitting on the beach somewhere in Florida, which has now been viewed over 28 million times:

According to DailyMail, TikTok personality Betr Carol first had the idea to go scoop up the sand in an effort to recoup some gambling losses from this past NFL season, and she shared a video sitting in the exact spot to prove the authenticity:
“I was a Tom Brady fan for a really long time and I’m actually sitting exactly where he retired this morning. You can see the buildings, they’re the exact same.
Every dollar I lost from betting on you this season, I will be making back because I’m going to sell the sand you sat on as you retired. So, thank you, Tom Brady.”

Tom reportedly filmed the video a while before he ever posted it, and he’s set to join the Fox Sports crew as as a lead analyst next season.
