I can’t wait for this.

Carly Pearce just announced her very first live album, 29: Written In Stone (Live From Music City), which was recorded during an intimate concert event at Marathon Music Works in Nashville, Tennessee.

And while, live albums aren’t typically much to write home about for the most part, Carly has such an incredible voice and impeccable vocals that I think hearing her songs live at a show will add a really neat layer and perspective to them that will serve them well.

The tracklist will feature everything from her phenomenal, career-changing 2021 record 29: Written In Stone, as well as older tunes like “Every Little Thing,” “Hide The Wine,” and her #1 hit with Lee Brice, “I Hope You’re Happy Now.”

The show featured special guests Lee Brice, The Isaacs on “Easy Going,” Matthew West on ‘Truth Be Told,” Jenee Fleenor on “29” and Ashley McBryde on their #1 duet “Never Wanted To Be That Girl,” so we’ll get to hear these songs truly come to life in every sense.

Carly shared the news in a post on Instagram this morning, saying that the record changed her “whole life in every way,” and she wanted fans to experience what she has out on the road playing them for people:

“’29: Written In Stone’ changed my whole life in every way. To those of you who got to experience it on the road with me, those moments were some of my favorite of my entire life.

For those of you who didn’t… I have a surprise for you. ’29: Written In Stone (Live From Music City)’ will be out March 24th AND you can listen to the live versions of ‘Never Wanted To Be That Girl’ and ‘What He Didn’t Do’ from the album TODAY.

CD’s & SIGNED 2-Disc Vinyl available for pre-order now, too. 💛✨ Link in bio.”

29: Written In Stone (Live From Music City) will be out everywhere on March 24th:

Carly released two tracks from it today, too, including her hit single with Ashley “Never Wanted To Be That Girl,” as well as her (in my opinion) future #1, “What He Didn’t Do,” which is currently sitting inside the Top 10 at country radio.

They both sound absolutely fantastic, and I’m certainly looking forward to getting to hear the rest of the songs live.

Carly is also up for a Grammy Award this Sunday evening, as “Never Wanted to Be That Girl” is nominated for Best Country Duo/Group Performance.

It’s safe to say, 2023 is already shaping up to be a massive one for Carly, and I love everything about it.
