I’ll never forget that show called Snake Salvation, about those insane Pentecostal pastors who would handle and bite the heads off rattlesnakes in order to show that they aren’t “afraid of Satan.”
Ya know, it was all fun and games until people in the congregation started dying because they were getting bit by the snakes, and they didn’t believe in modern medicine so they were pretty much screwed.
So, I guess this Florida man got on a little bit of a Snake Salvation kick himself, and took it to the max.
According to Local 10, a 32-year-old from Cutler Bay, Florida, is facing multiple felony charges after he bit the head off a damn python, during a domestic dispute on Monday morning.
The Miami-Dade Police Department said that officers responded to an apartment complex just after 5:20 AM, after receiving reports of a domestic dispute.
Officers arrived, and said they could hear a man and woman arguing with each other, and then the woman started screaming.
They could hear her yell:
“Just kick the door in!”
After they entered, they saw the culprit, Justin Mayorga running behind the door, attempting to close it to shut the victim and hold her “against her will.”
Police said that Mayorga refused to comply, even though they threatened to taser him.
That’s when the woman said that Mayorga bit the head off a snake, and sure enough, the severed head was sitting next to the door.
He now faces charges of animal cruelty with intent to kill, false imprisonment, and resisting arrest.
Mayorga was being held at the Turner Guilford Knight Correctional Center on a $15,000 bond.
You know what they say… Florida man gonna Florida man.
