First, the Phillies had an unbelievable postseason run, making their first World Series since 2009, and now, the Eagles look like the top contender coming out of the NFC and are getting ready to take on the San Francisco 49ers in the National Football Conference Championship this weekend.
Oh, and one of the biggest stars in country music, Zach Bryan, has moved there and fully dived into the sports scene, even following through on his promise to release a new song if the Eagles beat the Giants, which they did quite handily.
If you know anything about Philly, their fans are absolutely die hard and it’s pretty much impossible to go anywhere near the city and not hear “Go Birds” being screamed or their other fight songs being sung on repeat.
Well, it turns out those songs can have quite the impact on anybody who hears them enough, even if that person is only 3 years old…
Jason Kelce is an Eagles legend, no doubt about that, but he may have just been topped by none other than his daughter Wyatt, thanks to the trust old baby monitor in her room.
Jason shared a video to Instagram today of Wyatt waking up and starting her day with a passionate chant of the infamous E-A-G-L-E-S chant that fans yell approximately 4,825,927 times per game, and it’s the cutest thing ever.
You can hear his wife giggling while they watch it happen in real time, and he gives the best statement an NFL dad can in the moment.
“What have we done?”
Well, Mr. Kelce, it looks like you’ve made a Birds fan for life.
Really adorable stuff, and as a native Pennsylvanian, I can say going into this weekend…
