Mark your calendars…

A new studio album from Parker McCollum is dropping on May 12th.

Earlier today, a fan on Twitter asked Parker when his next record might be coming out, and Parker responded with an exact day and month, simply saying:

“May 12th.”

Ask and you shall receive, I guess…

The limestone kid had a mighty busy 2022, dropping the honky tonk heartbreaker “Handle On You” that’s taken off big time for him and is currently climbing the charts at country radio, and more recently, he released his highly anticipated single “Stoned” in December and teased a new tune called “Lessons From An Old Man.”

I’d be willing to bet that you’ll see all three of those songs on the tracklist for the unnamed, forthcoming new album, but we’ll have to wait and see what else makes the final cut.

Parker’s gearing up to hit the road on his own 2023 headlining tour, in addition to opening a few shows for Eric Church on his The Outsiders Revival Tour, so I’m excited to get to hear all the new material live on the road.

He dropped his third studio, major label debut album Gold Chain Cowboy in 2021, and it looks like we won’t have to wait too much longer for another one.

And if the rest of it is anything like this, it might just be his best work yet…
