Jerry Jones Has A Chat With Cowboys Kicker Brett Maher After He Missed A Handful Of Kicks During Warmups

Dallas Cowboys

Yikes…

One week after missing four straight extra point kicks, the Dallas Cowboys kicker Brett Maher is already off to a rough start.

The Cowboys still manhandled Tom Brady and the Buccaneers on their way to a 31-14 victory… so, no harm, no foul, right?

Doesn’t sound like it…

According to CBS, the Dallas Cowboys reportedly practiced running more two-point conversion plays this week, even though the team said they have his back.

Quarterback Dak Prescott told the media following the game that he had no doubts Brett will turn it around:

“I’m Money Maher’s biggest fan. I talked to him individually after the game, just told him, ‘Hey let that go, we’re going to need it.’ I just played like shit a week ago, so that happens.

Knowing what that guy’s done, with the resiliency he’s shown throughout his career. Personally, no doubt that he’ll comeback and be perfect and help us win.”

Not that easy…

Maher struggled once again during warmups, which prompted a visit to the field from Cowboys owner Jerry Jones:

Even the 49ers were trying to get in his head, interrupting his pregame kicks:

During the Cowboys first 4th and makeable… they didn’t think about kicking and went for it

And after the Cowboys first touchdown… the kick was blocked.

And he’s lucky it was blocked… because it was definitely going wide left.

OOF…
