How can wild animals at times look so majestic and at others so absolutely goofy?
Well, security cameras at a butcher shop in Moorhead, Minnesota captured a white tailed deer at its absolute wildest when it took a full head of steam and launched itself through a glass door one chilly winter morning.
The shop owner and her child were there when it occurred, and while fortunately no one was hurt, the deer did cause some damage inside… and obviously destroyed the door.
While there’s never a good time to have your entrance shattered, January in Minnesota has to be just about the worst. Looks like it’s negative 100 up there.
But for real, what was this deer thinking?
I completely get trying to get inside if there’s some food visible, hell even if you think it’ll be a spot to get out of the cold, but there seems to be absolutely no rhyme or reason, and this guy was flying.
From the outside camera, we can see the deer starting its sprint from the wood line across the street and doesn’t even break stride until its head it through the glass.
Its speed carried it all the way to the back of the store, where it slams into the wall in a complete shock.
