Mountain Bikers Come Across Six MASSIVE Bull Elk At Rocky Mountain National Park

Them big boys stick together, eh?

A few mountain bikers were rippin’ up the trails at Rocky Mountain National Park when they stumbled upon the crew of absolute units.

Six of the most gorgeous bull elks you’re ever gonna see, just strolling down a mountain road together.

Definitely a bit of an intimidatingly scene, but with the velvet still on the antlers, these bulls aren’t in the rut quite yet (why they’re traveling in their bachelor group). But when the velvet falls off and it’s time to mate in the fall, these bulls won’t be too friendly anymore.

In fact, they’ll be looking to fight each other for every cow in town.

Nevertheless, an absolutely incredible way to experience nature.

Camouflaged Bowhunter Stands Face To Face With A Herd Of Elk

Sneaking into an elk heard?

Next to impossible.

But for bowhunter Chris Burandt, it was a once in a lifetime experience:

“Probably one of the coolest things I’ve ever experienced!

Me and my long time hunting buddy Hill Guides & Outfitters sat here for 15 minutes watching this group of elk do what they do. Watching the bull hearding his cows this close was incredible.

I’d say the new SubAlpine Sitka Gear is the real deal! Who knew elk liked Kifaru, International backpacks too.”

The elk get spooked eventually, but you can bet something like this will probably never happen again.
