Whenever you’re fishing in a busy area, whether it’s a busy day on the lake, or fishing on a major harbor, you always have to aware of where your line is at all times. The same goes for boaters and kayakers, and really anyone trying to use the water.
There’s a pretty simple rule to follow on the water, and it goes a little something like this: Don’t be a dick.
For example, we recently saw one fisherman accidentally hook a surfer’s hand in California, and thinking he had a fish in (like a moron) actually reeled him in up underneath the pier he was fishing on.
Yeah, needless to say that surfer was PISSED.
And here we have yet another example right here, with this one coming out of Sydney, Australia.
Fishing in the Sydney Harbor, you can see a young fisherman accidentally hook a kayak after casting out his line. Of course, the kayaker (who is actually riding on a surfski, not a kayak), runs over the line, essentially creating his own problem.
Irritated, and perhaps looking for a laugh, the fisherman starts to reel him in.
The kayaker grows more and more upset once he realizes why he’s going backwards, and as he tries to unhook his watercraft, the fisherman continues to reel him in. Eventually, the fisherman gives him another good pull, and as the kayaker goes to turn backwards, he’s dumped into the harbor.
And now, he’s REALLY mad.
As the kayak proceeds to flip over, sending the kayaker into the water, he yells:
“I’m f*ckin’ pissed mate… don’t bring it anymore you’ll damage the f*cking boat… F*cking twat!”
The fisherman eventually has to just cut off the line so the kayaker can be set free, but it’s about funny as hell listening to the kayaker’s reaction.
Just part of it my guy, gotta keep your eyes peeled at all times.
