Is there a better way to kickoff 2023 than with some of Dolly Parton’s biggest hits?

I think not…

During Miley’s Miley’s New Year’s Eve special live from Miami, Florida on Saturday evening, Dolly and her goddaughter Miley Cyrus co-hosted the show, and of course, teamed up to sing some of Dolly’s most famous tunes.

You know they had to sing “Jolene,” which Miley has a done fantastic cover of, and what’s even cooler, they also did a live duet of Patsy Cline’s iconic “Walkin’ After Midnight,” which is pretty neat to hear on a national New Year’s Eve broadcast like theirs.

The duo also did an interesting medley of Miley’s “Wrecking Ball” with Dolly’s “I Will Always Love You,” and though I never would’ve put those songs together I don’t think, they made it work and Miley sounds great on Dolly’s classic.

Dolly certainly brought the country to this New Year’s Eve, and I love her for it…
