We’ve had quite a few hilarious moments throughout this year’s “ManningCast.”
From Luke Bryan getting the ever livin’ hell roasted out of him for looking hammered on the show a few weeks back, to Vince Vaughn calling himself a Chicago Bears fan, but referring to their stadium as “Soldiers Field.”
Needless to say, whoever decided to have Peyton and Eli Manning broadcast Monday Night Football deserves all the money in the world, because it’s been the best thing to happen to NFL football since sliced bread.
With that being said, they had yet another hilarious moment last night, when the cameras directed towards a fan at Lambeau Field dressed in a Gumby costume as the Los Angeles Rams and Green Bay Packers were squaring off.
Once the cameras pointed towards the spectator in the costume, it began to drink beer through the costume’s eye.
Yes, you heard that correctly. ITS EYE.
Eli hilariously responded by saying:
“Welcome back to Lambeau, we got Gumby in the house drinking a beer though his eye. I’ve never seen that technique but you gotta do what you gotta do.”
As soon as the cameras pointed towards Gumby, Peyton and Eli couldn’t contain their laughter, and it was a rather bright spot during a bit of a snoozer game, which ultimately resulted in Green Bay winning 24-12.
