Watch San Francisco 49ers QB Brock Purdy Sing His Heart Out To “Friends In Low Places”

Purdy

Brock Purdy has been having the time of his life here lately.

The former Iowa State quarterback was the very last pick in this year’s NFL Draft, claiming the unfortunate title of “Mr. Irrelevant” 2022.

He was drafted by the San Francisco 49ers, and started off the season as the third string quarterback, sitting behind Trey Lance and Jimmy Garoppolo, and probably never thought in a million years he would end up starting a game this season.

However, Lance went down with a season-ending injury in week one, and Jimmy G had a season-ending injury a few weeks ago, and next thing you know, “Mr. Irrelevant” Brock Purdy became the guy…

And he’s been balling out.

So far, Purdy has thrown for 612 yards with six touchdowns and one interception, since having to come in for Jimmy G against Miami earlier this month, and is 2-0 as the starter.

Needless to say, the guy has been balling out, and you have to love a story like this.

And of course, ol’ Brock is free to love it the most.

And since he’s been going off, I thought it would be a good idea to bring out this gem from back in the spring, of Purdy singing his heart out to some “Friends In Low Places” by Garth Brooks.

Just think, at this time, the guy was probably just happy to say he was apart of an NFL roster, knowing that he may never have a chance to start a game in his career.

Now he’s the talk of the NFL world.

LEGEND.
