Relive Beth & Rip’s Romance On The Meadow In The Latest Episode Of ‘Yellowstone’

Yellowstone rip and beth

Yellowstone season five episode six dropped this past Sunday, and there’s a lot to unpack.

From the Secret Service showing up to the reservation unknowingly, the horseback ride that ultimately ended with Emmett passing away unexpectedly, and Beth and Rip’s romance scene. Summer also finds a friend in Monica, as she’s the one person she seems to truly connect with on the ranch, and so much more.

But speaking of Beth and Rip’s romance scene, which took place at Rip’s favorite piece of land on the Dutton’s whole property, Yellowstone is giving us an opportunity to relive the scene.

In the scene, we really see Beth content for the first time on the show, as she says:

“I could live here, and never see another person in my whole life except you… I don’t need anything else. Cigarettes, whiskey, a meadow, and you.”

Kelly Reilly, who plays Beth on the show, weighed in on the scene in a recent “Behind the Story” recap video:

We see her in an element that we’ve never seen her. I mean she’s a rancher’s daughter, she doesn’t get to do much to experience it. To be in the land in that way, that ignites something in her. It connects her more to part of herself that she had not really been aware of.

Rip takes her as sort of a surprise, and they ride through the stream, and he takes her to this place, and it’s the perfect meadow.

It’s `almost like she’s found paradise, and you can see that she’s so moved, obviously by him doing that for her and finding this place for her. But for the first time I see a potential for happiness. I do wish that for her.”
