Ed Orgeron Reading “Cajun Night Before Christmas” Is The Ultimate Christmas Bedtime Story

Ed Orgeron LSU coach

I never knew I needed this – but man did I need it.

As everybody was getting ready to settle in for a long winter’s nap this Christmas  season, the internet was blessed with a reading of the classic “Twas the Night Before Christmas” from none other than…Ed Orgeron.

Well, sort of.

Coach O, true to his Cajun roots, shared a video of himself reading the bayou classic “Cajun Night Before Christmas,” which features not cookies and milk but gumbo by the fireplace, and a team of gators pulling Santa through the bayou.

Now, did I understand every word he said? Not at all.

But did it make me miss Coach O even more? Absolutely.

I mean, could you imagine Brian Kelly trying to read this book to kids with his fake southern accent?

Coach O is out there living his best life, just hanging out at his beach house in Destin and reading bedtime stories to the internet on Christmas.

Merry Christmas everybody – from Coach O, and all of us here at Whiskey Riff.
