Elon Musk Gets Booed By San Francisco Crowd At Dave Chappelle Show

Ol’ Elon is making headlines again.

Incase ya live under a rock and haven’t heard, Musk has officially taken over Twitter, after initially buying it for $44 billion back in April. And since then, he’s been busy getting the lay of the land, making some changes, and perhaps most importantly, exposing the way Twitter handled censorship prior to him taking the reins.

Yeah, Twitter was doing what we thought they were doing all along, but we’re not going to get into that here…

Also… tweeting… he’s been tweeting A LOT.

Like, this mega-viral post that exploded for over 1 million likes last week:

Needless to say, he’s earned a ton of fans, and a ton of enemies… especially at Twitter, where a number of employees were either laid off, or quit.

And that was proved recently at one of comedian Dave Chappelle’s shows.

At Chappelle’s show in San Francisco at the Chase Center yesterday, he invited Musk on stage. At first, he appears to be met with a ton of applause from the crowd, but as soon as they realize who it is, the cheers turn into vicious boos.

You can see Musk throw his hands up, as if he’s confused.

Chappelle said:

“Cheers and boos, I see, Elon.”

Musk responds:

“Hey Dave.”

That’s when Chappelle hilariously says:

“It sounds like some of the people you fired are in the audience… all these people who are booing, and I’m just pointing out the obvious, you have terrible seats.”

Phones weren’t allowed in the arena, but it appears that one person was able to sneak theirs in and catch it all on the jumbotron.

A San Francisco crowd didn’t like Elon Musk? Shocker…
