Taylor Sheridan Gives First Behind The Scene Glimpse Of 1923: “This Is A Big Sweeping Saga”

Harrison ford Yellowstone 1923

Man, I remember when Taylor Sheridan and Paramount+ announced the December 18th premiere date for the Yellowstone prequel series 1923, and it felt like ages away.

However, time has flown by in the blink of an eye, and we’re only nine days away from the official premiere.

What we know is that the star studded cast is led by Harrison Ford and Helen Mirren, who will play Jacob and Cara Dutton.

The show itself will feature the Dutton family taking on a ton of new challenges, from the end of Prohibition, the beginning of the Great Depression, and the emergence of new viruses.

With that being said, Paramount+ is giving us an opportunity for a sneak peak, as we’re getting an official “Behind the Scenes” video before the first episode even premieres.

Taylor Sheridan gives us a little rundown of what we can expect:

“With ‘1923,’ you’re seeing another generation of the Dutton family at a time of Prohibition, at a time where the mountain west was truly a playground for the elite from the east. So, throughout all this expansion and evolution, these legacy ranches had to fight to keep their land.

The show just looks like feature films, because aside from the locations being fantastic, and the cast being some of the world’s greatest actors, this is a big sweeping saga.

It’s gonna bring a whole new scale to the world of the Dutton family.”
