Bebe Rexha Gets Booed By Lions Fans During Thanksgiving Halftime Show

Bebe Rexha

Ahh 2017, what an incredibly mid year, and an incredibly awful year for mainstream country music, aside from the emergence of Luke Combs.

Why, you may ask?

Because “Meant to Be” by Florida Georgia Line and Bebe Rexha was sitting atop the pop and country charts.

I know, I know, you probably burned that memory from your mind and I apologize for bringing it back up.

I’ll never forget the first time I ever even heard the song. First off I thought:

“Why in the damn hell is this song playing on ‘country radio?'”

And my second thought was:

“Who in the hell is Bebe Rexha?”

Maybe she was a pretty big pop star at the time, but I had no clue.

Well, fast forward five years to the future, and she was picked to play the Thanksgiving Day halftime show for the Buffalo Bills vs. Detroit Lions at Ford Field.

Garbage halftime shows on Thanksgiving have become a popular trend here in recent years unfortunately, so I guess Ol’ Bebe was next in line.

And it appears that the crowd thought so as well, because as soon as she came on stage, you could hear the whole stadium light up with boos.

Okay, they may have not all been for Bebe Rexha, it may have been because of the head scratching location they put her and her band in, all the way in the back corner of the stadium where nobody could see them except for the jumbotron.

You be the judge of this one:

And if you were wondering how the 1/2 of Florida Georgia Line’s halftime show (Tyler Hubbard) went in Minnesota, well, we wouldn’t know. They didn’t even show it on TV.

I think we all know why…
