Earlier this week, we shared an eerie video of a flock of sheep in northern China that’ve been marching in circles for the past 12 days straight, and I thought that looked like a sign of the times…
But nah, this one has it beat.
We’ve all heard the saying, “they’re running around like a chicken with its head cut off.”
But what about “swimming like a fish with no head?”
Video footage has circulated of somewhat of a “zombie” fish, swimming around with no head…
Yeah, you read that right… it HAS NO HEAD.
How is this even possible?
In the video, you can clearly see the face is missing as the fish is swimming right below the surface of the water.
It appears that the fish may have been attacked by another creature of some sorts, or it could be some weird genetic disorder, but somehow it’s still alive, and swimming fine.
This isn’t the only time we’ve seen something like this, as a goldfish was discovered in Taiwan back in 2017, swimming around with no head as well after it got attacked by a predator. The owner said the goldfish was able to survive for a full three days after the attack.
Regardless if this has been documented on multiple occasions, it’s still creepy yet oddly fascinating at the same time.
