Miranda Lambert Brings The Sass To CMA Stage With Rousing Performance Of “Geraldene”

Miranda Lambert country music

Miranda Lambert is the queen, and you can’t convince me otherwise.

She took the stage at the CMA Awards this evening, which is currently airing live on ABC, to sing “Geraldene,” and I don’t know how anyone else is gonna top it to be honest.

“Geraldene” was initially included on her collaborative Marfa Tapes record with Jon Randall and Jack Ingram last year, and later made it to the tracklist of Miranda’s 8th studio album Palomino that dropped earlier this year.

Miranda’s current single at country radio is actually “Strange,” but there’s not doubt in my mind that she made the right call with her song choice for the evening.

The amount of sass and stage presence she brought to the CMA stage just proves why she’s still the best in business after almost 20 years of getting after it.

And I mean, hearing her say “I’m the only bitch in the band” live on national TV was everything I needed and so much more… honestly, shoutout to the CMA’s for not censoring her. I needed that.

I wanna be Miranda Lambert when I grow up:

Seriously, she’s the queen, and that’s the end of it…
