Miranda Lambert, Reba And Carrie Underwood To Open CMA Awards With Special Tribute To The Late, Great Loretta Lynn

Loretta Lynn country music

The ultimate trifecta.

It was just announced that three country music superstar ladies in Miranda Lambert, Reba, and Carrie Underwood will team up for a star-studded tribute to the late, great Loretta Lynn for the opening performance of tomorrow’s 56th CMA Awards.

Mrs. Loretta sadly passed away a few weeks ago at her home in Hurricane Mills, Tennessee, at the age of 90, and I have no doubt this will probably be the best performance of the entire night:

“JUST ANNOUNCED. @MirandaLambert, @Reba McEntire, and @CarrieUnderwood will perform the special opening tribute to the legendary @LorettaLynnOfficial.

Don’t miss the start of the show TOMORROW at 8/7c on @ABCNetwork.”

They have yet to reveal exactly which songs they’ll be singing, but regardless of what they decide on, I know I’m gonna love everything about it.

It’s gonna be real damn hard to top this opening performance, that I already know for sure:

This years 56th CMA Awards show will air live tomorrow on ABC, with Peyton Manning and Luke Bryan co-hosting live from Nashville, Tennessee at the Bridgestone Arena.

They’ve announced Luke Combs, Carly Pearce, Ashley McBryde, Patty Loveless, Chris Stapleton, Morgan Wallen, Hardy, Lainey Wilson, and more as performers already.
