Ross Chastain Pulls Off Insane “Video Game” Move To Secure Final Spot In The NASCAR Cup Series Championship

The NASCAR Cup Series Championship is SET.

What a race we had at Martinsville today with a ton playoff scenarios on the line.

A win at Las Vegas Motor Speedway secured Joey Logano’s place in the Championship race, and Chase Elliot’s points had him in a comfortable spot entering the day.

But for Denny Hamlin and Ross Chastain, they needed to run really well to get in, and then for the likes of Christopher Bell, Ryan Blaney, William Byron and Chase Briscoe… it was win or go home.

And in WILD finish, Christopher Bell took the checkered flag, winning two straight must-win races to get in.

But as great as Christopher Bell has been recently, it was Ross Chastain who stole the show.

Trailing Denny Hamlin by a couple points Ross Chastain pulled off the most insane “video game” move, flooring it into the wall and riding it around the turn to slingshot himself up the track.

He passed enough drivers, including Denny himself, to punch his ticket the Championship.

Denny is out, Chastain is in.

Bonkers…
