River Kayakers Fight Off Crocodile With Their Paddles As They Go Through The Rapids

Go kayaking they said, it’ll be fun they said…

River kayaking is intense enough, we don’t need to add another layer to it.

This right here is one of many reasons I will stay far away from African outdoors. That is a wild place where there’s always something willing and able to kill you.

Crocodiles are a vicious creature. They have the one of the strongest bite forces in the wild, with the White Nile crocs coming in at 5,000 psi. The things can grow up to 20-feet long and 1,600-pounds… aka MUCH larger than the little boat you’re in.

But, these folks are adrenaline seekers. The type of person who seeks danger and faces it head-on… willingly.

They were headed down the Nile river, kayaking in white-water kayaks. A boat that is small for quick movements, not a boat you want an animal with a powerful bite force coming after.

They came across a crocodile that decided to approach them on attack.

The people in the boat are seen beating the croc with their paddles as they float through the rough waters of the river.

The croc is massive and they are giving it all they got as it fights to get in close to the boat. They even lose a paddle in the battle.

Talk about a shit-yourself-moment.

They end fighting it off and all cheer as they do, the sweet sound of survival.
