Now this is how you do a gender reveal…
At a show in Louisville, Kentucky on Saturday night, a couple in attendance had Luke Combs do the honors of announcing their gender reveal for their very first child.
They were in the front row, and managed to get his attention and give him the paper with the gender on it at some point during the night.
Luke seemed happy to oblige, as he and wife Nicole had their first son, Tex, earlier this year on Father’s Day.
He asked two of his band members what they thought it would be, and one chose girl and one chose boy, and then asked the couple a little bit about their baby on the way:
“Is this your first kid? First one… I’m nervous. I bet y’all are too.
You’re having your first son.”
You can see mom losing it finding out it’s a boy, and dad seems overwhelmed with emotion as they celebrated with thousands of people finding out what they’re having.
I mean, we could make a laundry list of gender reveals that have gone horribly wrong, but this is probably the coolest one I’ve ever seen.
The fact that they got the superstar himself, Mr. Luke Combs, do that live on stage at a concert is amazing, and now that we know it’s a boy, I think they have an obvious frontrunner for his first name…
