Yep, this is the best news I’ve heard all day.
There’s one thing for certain about Whiskey Myers, and it’s that they’re arguably the best modern day southern rock band in the nation right now, and they aren’t showing signs of slowing down any time soon.
And another thing for certain about the group, is that they put on some of the best live shows imaginable.
Not to mention, their Firewater Music Festival in La Cygne, Kansas is one of the best festivals around, featuring some of the best names the southern rock music scene has to offer right now.
This year’s festival featured the likes of Blackberry Smoke, Old 97’s, Read Southall Band, Nikki Lane, 49 Winchester, Austin Meade, and so many more.
However, one festival just isn’t quite enough, as the group announced today the 2023 lineup for their annual Wiggy Thump Festival, based out of their hometown in Palestine, Texas.
Slated for April 15th, 2023, at the Anderson County Youth Livestock Arena in Palestine, next year’s lineup includes the likes of Mark Chesnutt, Tanner Usrey, and Sarah Hobb, and of course, Whiskey Myers.
Four pretty badass names if I must say so myself.
Giddy up, because tickets for the festival are on sale now, and this one’s gonna be a must see.
