Tyler Childers Releases Outtakes From Filming The “Angel Band” Music Video

Tyler Childers country music

Since Tyler Childers released his long awaited Can I Take My Hounds to Heaven? album a few weeks back, my mind has been in a whirlwind.

The project is unlike anything Childers has ever done before, as it’s a full blown gospel album split up into three unique different versions, with Hallelujah, Jubilee, and Joyful Noise, with Joyful Noise being strictly instrumentals with a bit of EDM flare.

Not to mention, he released arguably his greatest music video to date for “Angel Band (Jubilee Version),” depicting the drunken stoner who was featured in the “House Fire” and “All Your’n” music videos, getting taken in by Childers and his crew to work on a barn, where he gets kicked by a horse and goes to Heaven for a brief time before being revived.

It’s hilarious, yet also oddly satisfying at the same time.

With that being said, Childers released the outtakes from filming the music video today, and it’s pretty funny watching these guys behind the scenes.

From watching the guys get their words mixed up, to having to film the scene of our main character slipping on paint multiple times before they get it right, it’s cool to see what all went into filming the video.
