The Bills Mafia is at it again.
For those who aren’t too familiar with the NFL (or live under a rock), the Buffalo Bills have the most rowdy, rambunctious fanbase in all of professional football.
Dubbed the Bills Mafia, their fans are known for their insane tailgates, relentless fandom, and more particularly, their famous Bills Mafia table slam, where they nearly put themselves in a full body cast after slamming through a beer pong table after a few too many beers.
We’ve seen this tradition played out over and over again over the years, and I’m all for rowdy fanbases that bring the best atmosphere as possible to games week in and week out.
However, this may be just a bit over the top…
Video footage has circulated of a Bills Mafia fan doing the famous table slam in a Stefon Diggs jersey.
Sounds about on par for a basic Buffalo Bills tailgate, right?
Wrong.
Because instead of simply jumping onto a table, this guy jumped into a table that was nearly completely lit up in flames.
What could possibly go wrong?
Well, he found out the hard way, because as soon as he hit the ground, he realized that half of his body was up in flames quicker than a marshmallow over an open fire.
He quickly went into stop, drop, and roll mode in an effort to put out the flames that could, you know, kill him or significantly injure him? However, when the table and the ground, and presumably everything in the vicinity is soaked with alcohol, putting out a fire isn’t exactly a cakewalk.
It appears that he didn’t get too seriously injured, but you already know that had to be incredibly painful.
