We all know Jonah Hill as one of the most hilarious actors in the game.

From Superbad, to 21 Jump Street, The Wolf of Wall Street, Knocked Up, This Is The End, War Dogs, and so many more, the guy has quite the repertoire of 2000s-era irreverent comedy gold.

However, we can’t forget that the guy is a well-rounded actor, and can also play some damn good serious roles as well. He’s a two-time Best Supporting Actor Oscar nominee for his roles in The Wolf Of Wall Street, and Moneyball.

And one of those upcoming roles?

He’s gonna be playing no other than PGA Tour legend, John Daly, in a biopic titled The Bad Boy of Golf.

Jeff Sneider of The Ankler reported:

“The biopic will examine the excesses, scandals, and athletic achievements of the PGA Tour golfer, who is considered by many to be the Bad Boy of Golf.”

We all know John Daly as arguably the best personality in all of professional golf, known for his insane partying stories, and a golf career that’s seen the highest of highs, where he won two major championships, and the lowest of lows, which could all resort back to his “I don’t give a damn what anybody thinks of me” personality.

Needless to say, Daly has had a wild ride over his 56-years, and it’ll be intriguing to see it portrayed on the big screen.

And as for Jonah Hill playing the role, I love it.

To portray John Daly, you have to have an actor who can be both serious, and hilarious as well, and Hill exemplifies both of those traits in film.

However, I am kinda interested in seeing how Hill will fake a country accent, considering Daly’s drawl from being raised in Arkansas.

Either way, I’m here for it.
