Welp, saw that coming…

On Monday night, Las Vegas Raiders star wide receiver Davante Adams was seen shoving a photographer to the ground while trying to exit the field and enter the locker room after the Raiders lost a heartbreaker to the Kansas City Chiefs 30-29.

After the incident, Adams took to Twitter to apologize for his actions:

“Sorry to the guy I pushed over after the game. Obviously, very frustrated at the way the game ended and when he ran in front of me as I exited that was my reaction and I felt horrible immediately.

That’s not me… MY APOLOGIES man hope you see this.”

However, it appears that the photographer didn’t accept the apology, as he’s now pressed charges on Adams for misdemeanor assault, according to KCTV5.

The Kansas City Municipal Court issued a citation today, stating that Adams:

“Did, by an intentional, over act, inflict bodily injury or cause an unlawful offensive contact upon (the victim) by pushing (him) to the ground using two hands causing whiplash and headache. Possible minor concussion.”

NFL Media’s Tom Pelissero stated yesterday that the NFL is discussing discipline measures for Adams’ actions, which could include a suspension.

Needless to say, Fantasy Football owners with Davante Adams on their team are gonna be in shambles if the suspension goes through.
