Raiders WR Davante Adams Shoves Camera Guy After Heartbreaking 30-29 Loss To The Chiefs

Last night was a Monday Night Football game of the ages, between the Las Vegas Raiders and Kansas City Chiefs.

After coming back from a 17-0 deficit early in the game, Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs came back and took a 30-29 lead late in the game.

The Raiders had a shot to drive down the field and win it, but stalled out at the 50-yard-line after a deep pass to wide receivers Davante Adams and Hunter Renfrow came up incomplete.

There may have been some hope for the Raiders to catch the pass and set up the win, but Adams and Renfrow collided on the play, knocking each other down and nobody was there to catch quarterback Derek Carr’s pass.

Needless to say, Davante Adams was NOT happy.

I’m sure the play was designed for him, considering he’s arguably the best wide receiver in the NFL and they try to get the ball in his hands as much as possible, but the collision between him and Renfrow ended any chance of that.

Visibly frustrated, Adams headed straight for the locker room following the game, which is understandable…

But this right here is inexcusable.

As he was walking to the locker room, a camera man was standing nearby, and out of nowhere Adams just shoved the guy to the ground.

The move was incredibly unnecessary, as the guy was simply minding his own business and doing his job, just to end up knocked over.

It’s tough to see, because Adams has typically been considered as one of the good guys of the NFL, and it looks like the heat of the moment got to him here.

And shocker… the photographer filed a police report, citing injuries.

According to TMZ, the man filed a police report alleging that he had been assaulted and went to the hospital to treat his “non life-threatening injuries.”

Davante apologized for the move after the game:

“He jumped in front of me coming off the field and I bumped into him and kind of pushed him and he ended up on the ground.

So, I wanted to say sorry to him for that because that was just frustration mixed with him literally just running in front of me. I shouldn’t have responded that way, but that’s how I initially responded.

So, I want to apologize to him for that.”

Sounds like a fine, possibly a suspension and perhaps a settlement check is in Davante’s future:
