I’m always happy to get a new music video from Miranda Lambert.
She just dropped one for “Strange,” which features tons of cool shots from her headlining set at the Windy City Smokeout this summer, plus various dates of The Bandwagon Tour.
Miranda says she wanted to capture the magic of being out performing live shows again, especially because she wrote this song with Luke Dick and Natalie Hemby during the COVID lockdowns of 2020:
“We wrote this song in the middle of 2020, when live shows felt so far away and we weren’t sure when we’d have that connection with fans again.
Getting back on the road this summer, and now in Las Vegas, it’s so special to see a crowd full of smiling faces singing along.
I love that we were able to capture that feeling with this video!”
“Strange” is her current single from her eighth studio album Palomino, so make sure you check out the new video:
The single is still slowly but surely climbing the charts at country radio, and she recently performed it on national TV during an appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live.
Miranda currently in the thick of her Velvet Rodeo Las Vegas Residency, which just kicked off a couple weeks ago and looks like an absolutely incredible show.
