Watch 49 Winchester’s Killer “Jam In The Van” Performance

These guys seem to be all over the place these days, and it’s beyond deserved.

Fresh off their late night TV debut on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert and Grand Ole Opry Debut, 49 Winchester found time to drop in on Jam In The Van,  for a 4-song set that absolutely ripped.

The boys from Southwest Virginia showed the soul that fueled the rise which culminated with the masterpiece album released earlier this year, Fortune Favors The Bold, and accompanying tour, proving yet again that Appalachia is the reigning heavyweight champion as far as mountry music regions are concerned.

They opened with the first track on FFTB, “Annabel”.

I’ll be honest, I didn’t know how the song, especially the hook, would hold up with no harmonies, but lead singer Isaac Gibson showed why he’s absolutely one of the best in the business.

“Chemistry” followed, a track from their 2020 album III, which has one of the best first lines I’ve ever heard.

“I never wrote a song I hated
Until the day that I met you…”

Awesome stuff.

They followed that with power ballad “Hays, Kansas” and then finished with maybe my favorite song of theirs just because it’s so dang catchy.

“Long Hard Life” was the first track on III and has one of the most fun choruses to sing.

It’s guaranteed to be stuck in my head for the rest of the day, I just don’t know if it’ll be the lead guitar work, honky tonk piano or a just the too fun to sing chorus.

49 Winchester ladies and gents… can’t get enough of them, make sure you’re listening if you’re not already.

Can’t wait to see these boys at Greenville Country Music Fest next month.
