The Judds Final Tour Kicks Off With An Electric & Emotional Start

Wynonna Judd country music

The Judds Final Tour has officially kicked off.

The night was filled with lots of emotion and energy in Grand Rapids, Michigan.

As exciting as it is to kick off this star-studded tour, it also comes with great sadness, given Naomi should be standing at Wynonna’s side.

From the video clips, it appears Wynonna and her team are pulling out all the stops on this tour to give the attendees a great time and honor her mother.

Brandi Carlile and Martina McBride were at this stop of the tour, and they had so much fun on stage together. When they come out on stage to join Wynonna, they belt out “Girls Night Out.”

The crowd goes wild.

Later in the evening, Wynonna sings “Love Can Build A Bridge” to honor her late mother.

A moving video clip was shared by a fan of a side by side on the jumbotron of Naomi singing next to Wynonna. It almost brought me to tears, and then Wynonna closes the song by saying:

Thank you, Mama, for writing this song. I will continue to sing it for all the days of my life.”

It is so moving.

I’m sure the rest of this tour will get better and better. I’m sure Naomi Judd is looking down so proud of her daughter right now.

Check out some other clips from the night.
