Great White Shark Swimming Directly At Spearfisherman Is Pure Nightmare Fuel

Shark attacks spearfisherman

Holy moly, this is some nightmare fuel…

If you spend any amount of time in the great outdoors, you’re bound to have some close encounters with some wildlife.

Some of these are going to scare the shit out of you, there’s no two ways about it. No one wants to come face-to-face with an angry bear, a mother moose or a cougar. But if you’re out there, it’s bound to happen.

All of those examples come from the woods, but the ocean is a whole different ball park. Out there is a fish-eat-fish world and we as humans are completely out of our natural territory.

The ocean is a scary place to say the least. All of our natural senses don’t work the same and there are many things out there that can kill you with ease.

Great Whites are an infamous breed known for their aggressiveness and viewed as a killer. The truth is they really only have 52 confirmed fatal attacks. That really isn’t many in the grand scheme of things but it still makes them the most aggressive shark out there.

This video shows a spearfisherman swimming in the ocean and a Great White is seen swimming in circles seemingly eyeing up the situation.

This is not the time to take a shot at a fish and create a situation where the shark wants to attack you and your catch…

The fisherman keeps the camera and his eye on the shark as it circles around. But then, the shark heads straight for the fisherman in a scene that seems like its modern CGI in a blockbuster movie…

Nope…

The fisherman holds his speargun up, ready for what is about to happen but at the last second the shark cuts away from him. The man swims to the surface immediately after this.

Smart move…

I certainly won’t be going scuba diving or spearfishing anytime soon after this.
