Post Malone had quite the frightening moment while playing a show in St. Louis, Missouri, over the weekend.
The 27-year-old rapper bruised his ribs after falling through a hole on stage during the Saturday show, falling mid-song.
His manager, Dre London, shared a post yesterday showing that he suffered from bruised ribs, and is currently healing from his injuries.
The caption read:
“Thank you everyone for all your well wishes! Post Malone didn’t break 3 ribs last night thank god. We did X-rays at hospital after the show & they declared he had bruised his ribs.
In true Posty fashion, loving his fans he finished the show. I truly don’t know any artist like him. Talking to him few hours ago he was still saying ‘Dre don’t go hard on em’, explaining more then saying ‘the show must go on.’
Let’s all keep him in our thoughts as we know he will wake up in pain.”
He also shared a video message from Posty, saying:
“So whenever we do the acoustic part of the show, the guitars on the guitar stand goes down and there’s this big ass hole, so I go around there, I turn the corner and bust my ass. Winded me pretty good.”
Although he’s suffering from the injury, he still plans to continue the tour as is, as he received pain medication from his hospital visit.
“I just want to apologize to everyone in St. Louis and I want to say thank you so much for coming to the show and next time we come round this way we’re gonna do a 2-hour show for you.”
Needless to say, it’s great to see that Posty is in good spirits throughout this terrifying incident, as it could’ve easily ended much worse.
He is set to play at Scotiabank Arena in Toronto, Canada tomorrow.
