Could there be new music on the way soon from Carly Pearce?

I sure hope so…

She just teased a brand new song over on Instagram called “We Don’t Fight Anymore,” and it sounds like a good old fashioned country breakup song if I’ve ever heard one.

She shared what I think could be the chorus, and it already has me wanted to set something on fire, or at the very least, blast it at maximum volume in my car:

“We don’t yell,
‘Cuz what the hell difference would it make
We don’t cuss,
And we don’t care enough to even hate,
We could tear up the house,
We could burn the whole thing down,
But boy what for,
Cuz we don’t even fight anymore”

Carly, if you’re reading this, we need to hear the rest of it… and soon.

She noted in the caption that she’s been loving everything that she’s been writing lately, so it sounds like there’s even more good stuff where this came from:

“Just because I’m loving what I’m writing & wanted to share one. ‘We Don’t Fight Anymore.’”

Tell me this doesn’t already sound like a great country song…

Carly also just scored five nominations at this year’s 56th CMA Awards, which airs live on November 9th on ABC.

She released her fantastic 2021 album 29: Written in Stone last year, and her single “What He Didn’t Do” is currently climbing the charts at country radio:
