Colter Wall is IN THE STUDIO.
The Canadian cowboy is known for his dark, gritty vocals that are both haunting and easy on the ears at the same time. I mean, you can be walking down the street in the biggest city in America and the guy’s music will make you feel like you’re a cowboy drifter, roaming the plains and hopping from one horse town to one horse town.
It seems like everything Wall touches turns to gold, as he’s truly one of a kind when it comes to independent country music.
However, we haven’t gotten a new album from the guy since his 2020 Western Swing & Waltzes and Other Punchy Songs project.
We’ve seen the man play a few unreleased tunes and covers over the past couple of years, but the guy has been ranching and living the life away from music, and there’s really been no sign of a new album here recently…
Until now.
The man posted a picture to his Instagram account of him sitting in the studio with his acoustic guitar, and of course, that can only mean one thing. New music is on the way.
Man, whatta time to be alive.
If you would’ve told me this time last year that we would be getting new music from Wall, Tyler Childers, AND the Turnpike Troubadours in the very near future, I would have sent you to a psych ward.
But, here we are.
