With all the recent fighting, let’s take a look back at October of 2021, when Brittany and Jason Aldean really started using their platforms to speak their mind.
Brittany has quietly, rather… not so quietly, made a name for herself among conservatives the last year plus, most notably for speaking out against President Joe Biden with her fashion choices.
A year ago, Brittany shared a picture of herself rocking an “Anti Biden Social Club” t-shirt from the “Unvaxxed Collection” of the apparel company called Daddy T 45, an obvious reference to the 45th President of the United States, Donald Trump.
She also wore an “Impeach 46” shirt and shared a picture of her kids, Navy and Memphis, rocking “Hidin’ From Biden” shirts.
Jason later called out Governor Gavin Newsom for California’s mandatory vaccine mandate for middle and high school kids to attend school.
It caused quite the firestorm, both in the media and on social media, but make no mistake, the Aldean’s are embracing their new found notoriety as a conservative member of the country music community.
Jason even shared a post stating that he would never apologize for his beliefs.
Needless to say, the Aldean crew has made themselves some enemies, but as Brittany pointed out in her Instagram post, she’s received a ton of support since deciding to be more vocal about her and Jason’s political beliefs.
“My prayer as a Mama is that my babies are raised in a loving, safe place, where they have the ability to grow into the best versions of themselves. The burden of the world we currently live in can be hard on any parent. Terrifying, actually.
I am currently praying for our children, our military, the hospitalized, the border, the impressionable youth, the ones standing up for change… for the right to simply make their own medical choices.
Some days are harder than others thinking of what the future might hold.
We get stopped multiple times per day – people giving thanks for speaking out. YOU CAN TOO. We need you more than ever. You’ll actually be surprised at just how much support you’ll receive.
As for the haters…. Screw them. They’re the reason we are where we are. REMEMBER THAT with every passing comment.
We stand with you and support you, ALWAYS.”
To which Jason Aldean himself replied:
“Love this babe and couldn’t agree more.”
Brittany may not be popular with some folks, but she’s gaining fans elsewhere.
