Drayton Farley Drops Stellar New EP, ‘Walk Home’

Drayton Farley country music

Drayton Farley is the real deal.

The Alabama native was blessed with the talent of being able to deliver a song and move a crowd with only an acoustic guitar, a captivating voice and a compelling story.

In fact, the guy recently had the opportunity to open for the great Willie Nelson earlier this year, which tells you all you need to know.

His 2021 sophomore album, A Hard up Life, was a personal favorite of mine last year, and today, he’s followed it up with one kickass EP, titled Walk Home.

The EP is a collection of five introspective and reflective songs that live up to the title, Walk Home. With songs like “Oh, River” and “Friends Alike,” you can almost picture these thoughts rushing through Drayton’s head on a walk home.

Observing the landscape around him, pondering life, facing regrets… the 5-song project is pure poetry set to music.

Here’s a couple early favorites:

“Oh, River”
