Hot Mic Catches Kid Accusing ESPN Of Rigging Little League World Series Games For Ratings

Could it be?

Could ESPN be conspiring against the Little League baseball team out of Iowa, to do everything possible to keep them out of the championship game?

Iowa was squaring off against the Little League team from Washington in the elimination game, and was winning 6-3 in the bottom of the sixth inning, with only one out to go.

The pitcher threw a pitch that was close to the strike zone (A little outside, but Little League umpires typically call anything close), and sent the batter to first on ball four.

Needless to say, the team was stunned, as the whole team practically began running off the field once the ball hit the catcher’s mitt.

The coach then called timeout and visited the pitcher’s mound, and you can hear one of the kids saying that they gave the kid ball four because ESPN wants Washington to come back and win.

Everyone likes a good last inning comeback, right?

A hot mic caught the conversation on the mound:

This may be the biggest conspiracy theory since Steph Curry’s wife said the NBA was fixing the NBA Finals between the Golden State Warriors and Cleveland Cavaliers.

Believe it or not, this is the same team that came under fire recently for putting cotton on an black player’s head, so needless to say, the Little League team from Iowa might be the talk of the whole series right now.

Ya know what they say, kids say (and do) the darndest things…
