Ward Davis Is Back With A Rowdy New Single, “Another Bad Apple”

Ward Davis Country MUsic

If you aren’t too familiar with Ward Davis, there’s one thing you need to know…

The man is about as country as it gets, keeping that traditional country/southern rock sound alive and well, and is one of the best independent country artists in the game right now.

You’d also undoubtedly recognize his work as the man has written songs with Whitey Morgan, Cody Jinks and even Willie Nelson and Merle Haggard.

With that being said, Davis is back and better than ever with a new single “Another Bad Apple.”

The song is a badass boot stompin’ southern rock anthem, as he sings about coming from a long line of outlaws, aka “bad apples,” from his grandpa, to his momma, to his brother and sister, along with himself.

He perfectly sums it up in the chorus:

“I’m just another bad apple, who didn’t fall far from the tree”

Mix in the kickass lyrics, along with Davis’s deep gritty vocals, the song is the definition of southern rock to its core.

He also released a hilarious music video of himself rockin’ the flannel with the cutoff sleeves, jorts, and the trucker hat… just livin’ that bad apple life.

Check it out:

Needless to say, the song brings a lot of excitement about what’s to come for Davis, adding to an already big year in 2022.

And if you get the chance, go ahead and mark your calendars for October 1st, because Davis, Clint Black, and Cody Jinks are playing a show together at the iconic Red Rocks Amphitheater.

He’ll also be headlining the Ryman Auditorium tomorrow night, with support from Charles Wesley Godwin and Josh Meloy.
