Ronnie Dunn Covers The Hell Out Of Jon Pardi’s Honky Tonk Heartbreaker, “She Ain’t In It”

Ronnie Dunn country music

Talk about a honky tonk heartbreaker…

Ronnie Dunn covered the hell outta Jon Pardi’s “She Ain’t In It” as part of his Apple Music Sessions feature, and it’s pretty cool to see a legend like Ronnie covering a younger artist like Jon.

It’s usually always the other way around, and we’ve see Jon team up with Brooks & Dunn before for performances of songs like “My Next Broken Heart” and “Neon Moon.”

Jon definitely has that great ’90s country sound to a lot of his music, and the slide guitar that’s featured heavily on “She Ain’t In It” of course sounds heavenly backing Ronnie’s incredible voice.

“She Ain’t In It” was written by Clint Daniels and Wynn Varble, Jon recorded the song and released it as the fourth single from his 2016 California Sunrise album. It was Jon’s eigth charting single on country radio, peaking at #23 on the U.S. Billboard Country Airplay charts, and has since been certified Gold by the RIAA.

Ronnie just released a brand new album, 100 Proof Neon, a few weeks ago, and also covered Ashley Monroe’s “The Blade,” in addition to packing the rest of the tracklist full of a ton of honky tonk goodness.

But damn… I really wish this cover would’ve made the final cut, too:
