Kolby Cooper keeps setting milestones for his young career in country music.

From being a no-name out of Anderson County, Texas, to garnering a rabid fanbase in the Lone Star State, and signing his first big time record deal with BBR Music Group, and releasing his first major label EP, Boy From Anderson County, his come quite a long way.

With that being said, he’s ready to turn things up yet another notch, as he’s gearing up to release his first major label studio album, Boy From Anderson County To The Moon, this upcoming Friday.

We already know that we’ll be getting a few features from the EP on the new album, with “Excuses,” “Good For You,” and his latest single “Breaking News.”

Although we have an idea of what to expect from the upcoming project, Cooper is giving us another slight edge to what’s to come, as he performed a stripped-down, acoustic version of one of the new songs titled “Are We On Fire.”

Written by both Cooper and Jordan Walker, the song is about a relationship that’s making a downward spiral, as each person seems to be growing apart.

The song is about Cooper confronting those issues with his significant other, and it has the potential to be one of the top songs on the upcoming album.

Buckle up, this oughta be a goodin’.
