Ol’ Garth Brooks teaming up with Bass Pro Shops?

I like that…

Brooks will be performing for the grand opening of the newly expanded Thunder Ridge Nature Arena at Bass Pro Shops’ Big Cedar Lodge in the Ozarks of Missouri on October 1st at 7:00 PM.

Located in Ridgedale, Missouri, the newly expanded Thunder Ridge Nature Arena is a major natural amphitheater that overlooks Table Rock lake and the Boston Mountains in Arkansas.

On top of that, it’s all for a good cause as well, as all of the Thunder Ridge land has been set aside in a non-profit foundation, so all of the proceeds will go to further enhance the Thunder Ridge and support conservation.

They intend to host a plethora of big time performers on the amphitheater’s stage.

Johnny Morris, conservationist and founder of Bass Pro Shops and Big Cedar Lodge, expressed his excitement for the new unveiling:

“We are very honored to have Garth come and help open this great new venue, which we hope will be regarded as one of the most picturesque and impressive nature-based arenas anywhere.

This will be a place for visitors of all ages to come and experience some of the best entertainers of our generation, in a truly awe-inspiring environment, surrounded by nature.”

Tickets will be $98.95 a person, and will go on sale Friday, August 26th at 10 AM CT.

I just have to say, I’d keep a really close eye on Garth out there in the wilderness… he might discover a new place to hide the bodies.
