If you happen to live near Tuscaloosa, Alabama, or Jacksonville, Florida, you’re in luck, because the Turnpike Troubadours are headed your way in the near future.

As part of their reunion tour after their three year hiatus, the group announced today that they will be playing a show at Tuscaloosa Amphitheater in Tuscaloosa, Alabama on November 4th, and Daily’s Place Amphitheater on November 5th.

And on top of that, Turnpike has some kickass openers joining them for the shows as well, featuring Alabama’s own Muscadine Bloodline, and Them Dirty Roses for the Tuscaloosa show, and one of the best modern day southern rock acts Blackberry Smoke, and the great American Aquarium for the Jacksonville show.

This is setting up perfect.

The University of Alabama plays LSU in college football the following day of their Tuscaloosa show, and throw in the fact Muscadine Bloodline will be there at an outdoor venue? This concert already has legendary status in the making.

Not to mention, the Las Vegas Raiders are playing the Jacksonville Jaguars at home after Turnpike’s Jacksonville concert, it’s setting up to be a rowdy time as well.

Turnpike Troubadours and football?

It’s not the combination we want, it’s the combination we need.
