Garth Brooks wrapped up the United States portion of his Stadium Tour this weekend with a special thank you to Houston, Texas.

Prior to the closing show on Saturday night, Garth tweeted out to Houston telling them to “come ready,” and it seems that Houston took the call-to-action seriously.

Garth did not let the incredible final night slip by without sending out a special thank you to the city at 1 am on his social media platforms, calling the last show, “F’ing UNBELIEVABLE!”

Brooks’ rigorous Stadium Tour began in March 2019, hitting a marathon of stadiums in over 2 years’ time, that included a variety of opening acts including Easton Corbin, Chris Young and Martina McBride.

He was left to make a lot of difficult decisions regarding COVID cases and numbers, even cancelling and rescheduling many of the dates on the tour. This ultimately led Brooks to name this stadium tour his last in an interview, saying he will stick to indoor arenas in the future.

Brooks went on to share that he’d love to play some even smaller venues:

“I’d love to go to dive bars. Seventy-five of ‘em. Let’s line ‘em up, let’s go!”

Though there is no definite announcement of a Garth Brooks’ Dive Bar Tour just yet, Brooks is heading to Ireland to complete the final international dates of his Stadium Tour.
