If Carson Jeffrey still isn’t on your radar yet, it’s about time to go ahead and hop on the train.

Jeffrey grew up living the cowboy lifestyle on his family’s ranch in Dryden, Texas, while listening to some of the best songwriters around like Cross Canadian Ragweed, Ryan Bingham, and Chris Knight.

Many may know him for his smash hit “Ranch Girl Dream” off his 2019 Muchos Sonidos album, a song about dreaming of a life with a gorgeous girl you met at the local bar.

Since that debut album, Jeffrey has become a household name in the Lone Star State, and with his impressive vocals and vivid songwriting, it’s only a matter of time before country music fans know this guy’s name across the country.

With that being said, the man released a brand new single today, hilariously titled “Cow Pissin’.”

The song is an upbeat honkytonk heater all about how the sky feels like it’s falling down on top of him, but at the end of the day there’s always a light at the end of the tunnel, as long as he’s got his significant other by his side.

Not to mention, the song grabs your attention immediately with the first line:

“I’ve got troubles coming down like a cow pissin’ on a flat rock”

The song is the perfect storm of humor, relatability, sadness, and hope, and a country song that can make you feel every emotion possible is the mark of great songwriting.
