Look at ol’ Twisted Tea stepping up their game a bit.
We all know Twisted Teas as the premier hard iced tea, that can sneak up on you in a hurry and have you absolutely fiddler’s f*cked up if you aren’t too careful.
With that being said, they’re ready to put on the big boy boots, as they’ve unveiled their brand new Twisted Tea Sweet Tea Whiskey.
Erica Taylor, brand director for Twisted Tea, expressed her excitement for the new product:
“We put our fans first in everything we do – from printing their photos on our cans, to including them in our commercials, to bringing them the flavors and pack styles they ask for. Many of them are already shopping for flavored whiskey, so this is our way of giving them something they can call their own.”
The latest edition contains sizes in 50mL, 750mL, and 1L bottles, with an ABV of 32.5%, and 65 proof. It will launch across five test markets, like Massachusetts, Rhode Island, Ohio, Missouri, and Texas.
The Boston Beer Company and Beam Suntory teamed up in 2021 to create some new innovative ways to grow the brand, and Sweet Tea Whiskey is their latest example of their growth in the alcohol industry.
Stephanie Kang, Senior Director of Strategic Ventures, added:
“We are excited to continue our partnership with Boston Beer Company and to bring Twisted Tea into the whiskey space.
We’re taking the great taste of Twisted Tea Hard Iced Tea and reimagining it as a whiskey to deliver on the bold and unexpected experiences consumers are looking for.”
