We know that NBA star Jimmy Butler is a big fan of country music.

But it looks like he may be taking it a step further, as he was just in Nashville writing with some of the best songwriters in the game, namely Jessi Alexander, along with Ben Hayslip and Greylan James.

Jessi shared a photo on Instagram of the three songwriters with Jimmy, saying they had a fun day penning something together:

“Had a fun day writing a song with these Ballers. Ben Hayslip, Jimmy Butler, Greylan James #shortbutsweet #dreamjob #songwriterlife #ballerforlife.”

Jimmy has previously shared some of his favorite country artists on Instagram, which include Riley Green and Chris Stapleton, and was also seen blasting Luke Combs’ “She Got the Best of Me” while on the boat a couple years back.

He even starred in Luke Bryan’s music video for “Light It Up” in 2017.

Jessi also shared a photo of Jimmy with her sons who were very excited to meet one of their favorite basketball players, adding that he has a new fan girl in her and that she’ll have to start watching basketball now:

“Thanks for being so sweet to my boys… guess I’m going to have to start watching basketball now Jimmy Butler, you got a new fan girl.”
