If you’ve ever seen Anchorman before, then you already know that Ron Burgundy (Will Ferrell) was known for reading everything off the teleprompter, and it ultimately resulted in him losing his job after saying:
“Go f*ck yourself San Diego.”
With that being said, I can’t help but wonder, is this man the real life Ron Burgundy?
A Houston news anchor was caught on TV recently saying:
“Inflation continues to b*tch slap the American family, and that includes the dinner table.”
WHAT? Come again?
I mean, he’s not wrong, but saying something like that will have moms covering their kids’ ears, and dad doing a spit take with his beer as they watch the news segment.
I can’t help but wonder though, was somebody tampering with the teleprompter? Was this the guy’s last day on the job, and he simply didn’t give a rip anymore? Did he go off script?
Actually, this man is Isaiah Carey, a popular Houston-area newscaster who works for Fox 26, and also hosts a late night, uncensored news program called Isaiah Factor Uncensored.
He’s also the guy who went viral when a bug flew into his mouth on the news.
Either way, this has to be the most hilarious thing I’ve seen on the news since that woman said:
“F*ck it, I quit.”
…on live television.
Absolute insanity.
Of course, we have to relive the “F*ck it, I quit” woman though.
