Fisherman Catches Wild Footage Of Rain Rolling In And It’s Oddly Satisfying

Fishing in the rain

There may not be a more disheartening feeling on this planet than enjoying a great day on the lake in the summertime, and then out of nowhere, one of those popup summer thunderstorms rolls along…

Next thing you know, you realize you’re stuck in the middle of a massive body of water, your boat dock is miles away, and you’re a few too many beers deep and you know it’s about to be a brutal ride back.

It’s pretty wild to watch the rain coming right for you, as it looks like a huge wall is quickly making its way directly towards you.

With that being said, one fisherman was sitting on a boat in Estonia, casually going about their day, when all of a sudden a storm quickly snuck up.

Luckily enough, the fisherman caught the wild footage on camera, and you can see each drop hit the water at a rapid pace, right before it officially makes its way to the fisherman.

And usually that means the day is over for most fisherman, but yet, this video is oddly satisfying and serene.

For some reason, I can’t get that Forest Gump scene out of my head.

You know, the one where he gets caught in the long rainstorm while he’s fighting in the Vietnam War?

“One day, it started raining, and it didn’t quit for four months. We been through every kind of rain there is. Little bitty stinging rain, big ol’ fat rain… Rain that flew in sideways.

And sometimes rain even seemed to come straight up from underneath. Shoot, it even rained at night.”
